On Monday we started off the week by finding out what the surprise is. It was a party for the newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Cowan. After learning about the surprise we felt a bit more energetic. As the day grew our anticipation grew with it. We could hardly wait for the day to arrive. During the day even though it was hard to concentrate we got through it. On Tuesday we had an off day because of Election Day where our parents went to vote for the next Potus*. We didn’t know who would win and tensions were high. After Tuesday managed to go by, Wednesday seemed to come around bringing some news about the election. It turns out that our next president is Donald Trump with the most electoral points and Hillary Clinton came in second but got the popular vote. When we got to school everyone was talking about it. Then we suddenly remembered that the surprise for the Cowan’s was coming up in less than 24 hours. Right after the students’ davened mincha we helped set up for it. The surprise was a meal during their sheva brachot. They came on Thursday.
