On the Friday after Shavuot we had a slow and chilled day. Not everyone was at school because they were all tired from staying up all night over the chag. On Monday we came back to school to find out that we were going to the OU for a technology course with the girls’ school. We learned about when it is a good time to send a text message and how to deal with different scenarios that might pop up during a conversation. The two main presenters on this topic was a rabbi from the OU and DJ. There were also 2 police officers who spoke about harassment by texting. Later that afternoon DJ continued his lesson in class 103. Everyone was divided into groups of 4-5 students and was assigned to write a couple ideas on the topics that they were given. Everyone presented beautifully. In the evening at 6:00pm the basketball game between the Golden Knights and The Flatbush Cavaliers happened. The Golden Knights tried their best but couldn’t overcome the team. The Cavaliers won 81-25. For the rest of the week everything seemed like a turtle meaning slow going. As the school year comes to an end class 103 is preparing for regents. We want to wish them hatzlacha and that they should pass all their regents with great marks.
