We were surprised and excited to learn on Friday that one of the staff, Shea, is going to be getting married on Tuesday night. On Monday we went to a Chanukah party at the school building of the boys who join us on Thursday. We all had an amazing time having some pizza, singing some Chanukah zemirot, and playing some games. Tuesday had brought us a boring morning but a little of an exciting day in the afternoon. In the afternoon a person from yachad came down to the school to talk to the people who are running in the Miami marathon. They got some stuff for running in the marathon. Wednesday was a bit of a calmer day in terms of activities. During the day we learned that we were going to have a 2 day vacation which turns into a 4 day vacation because the vacation starts on Thursday and Friday and we usually don’t have school on Shabbos and Sunday. After we came back from an amazing vacation we still had a bit of energy to get through the day. Monday after vacation we came back to school feeling refreshed and a bit sad that Chanukah was over but we still managed to get through the seemingly boring day. Tuesday brought a surprise to us all when Rabbi Klein had a baby boy. Everyone was happy and shocked when they heard the news. The day was still a bit boring but not as boring now because of the news. On Wednesday while Rabbi Klein took off to take care of his baby everyone was in class still getting over his new baby. On Thursday we had a class, and then we got to meet Mr. Fuchs who started a seminar on public speaking. We got to learn about how to communicate with a new acquaintance and make a friend with that new acquaintance. Then we had some classes, swimming/basketball, and a class with mincha in the middle of it. On Friday we learned that rabbi Klein was making a shalom zachor and a bris for his baby boy in the building on Shabbos.
